Overview
The Cal Test Electronics’ CT4401 is a High Voltage Sprung Hook Clip. Its robust size provides that extra level of protection needed in high voltage applications. With its extra clearance and creep distances, it can operate up to 8 kV when used in non-category environments.a In addition, these clips meet the rigorous standards of IEC 61010-031, rated at 1,000 V CAT III, 5 A.b
The CT4401 connects to 4 mm sheathed banana plug leads for use with DMMs, differential probes, or other needed test equipment. Its plunger style actuation facilitates quick connections while allowing for minimal exposed contacts, thus reducing unintentional short circuits.
Ribbed handles provide for a sure grip. The hook fits conductors up to 2.5 mm in diameter.
